As the Junior Telecommunications Analyst you will provide technical assistance for telecommunications equipment, service upgrades, incident response and maintenance activities. You will create and update knowledge base information and will support and collaborate with senior team members in fulfilling business objectives.

Technologies you have experience with:

  • You have experience with Office 365.
  • You have experience with Genesys Cloud.
  • You have experience with Cisco Video Hardware.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Supporting telecommunications activities around office relocations, changes and new implementations with multiple vendor groups and internal business partners.
  • Reviewing system status reports, coordinating with vendor technicians to identify capacity and system integrity concerns and reporting findings to management.
  • Assisting users in the event of system outages and system performance issues and escalating telecommunication and network service incidents to the appropriate support team.
  • Assisting with the documentation and maintenance of procedures for software and hardware support.
  • Updating and maintaining knowledge base articles to ensure the information is relevant and accurate.

What to expect:

  • Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required.
  • Rotational on-call schedule, with shifts during evenings and weekends.
  • You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.

  • You have completed post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related discipline.
