Field Technician

OCP Communications Inc./Dependable HomeTech is a growing, Canadian-based technology and field services firm, operating in the Telecommunications and IT sectors.

Field Technicians Needed

Provide onsite installations and service work for CATV, Digital, Internet, Fibre, Home Phone and Security Home Monitoring services on behalf of the Company’s Cable Communications Business Partner and ensures all the work is completed to standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Strong customer service skills
• Work well independently
• Strong time management skills
• Must be able to work within a strict set of policies and procedures
• Completion of High School/Secondary School or equivalent
• Previous experience as an electrician or technician
• Previous installations, field services and/or telecommunication industry experience as asset
• Valid license (G class in Canada), with an excellent driving record
• Must provide a satisfactory criminal background certificate
• Some sales background an asset
• Some mathematical ability required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
