We are currently searching for an energetic, customer focused, NOC Analyst who will be accountable for monitoring a variety of standard Networking equipment and communication circuits. Troubleshoots network systems when necessary and makes improvements to the network. The NOC Analyst is responsible for creating incidents and notifying the responsible department or management of networking issues or trends that may have an impact on performance. The NOC Analyst will proactively detect, analyze, and resolve issues when possible.

Requirements:

• At least one year of IT experience.
• Must be able to perform routine as well as technical tasks
• Generate incident reports and manage the ticket queue
• Maintain network maps and documentation
• Prepare, maintain, and communicate NOC reports
• Conduct ongoing review and tuning of current system alarm thresholds and functionality
• Experience working with service providers on circuit issues/outages
• Analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Experience with Network monitoring systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a goal oriented team
• Basic knowledge of networks and equipment architectures
• Maintains confidentiality of client and company information and has a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and guidelines
• Participates in disaster recovery documentation, planning and implementation.
