Part of the pute.us experience is our advance VoIP phone. Like all technology, there will come a need where the customer has feedback or troubleshooting issues. This is where you come in!

Main Purpose and Scope of Job

  • Act as first line of support for incoming issues for pute.us Telephony Program members.


Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot network communication issues/ensure optimal PTP system performance
  • Troubleshoot incoming issues with the PTP system to the best of tech’s ability.
  • Train and advise clients on phone system use.
  • Make minor configuration changes to PTP systems
  • Follow up with PTP clients on resolution of ongoing issues


General Responsibilities

  • Maintain the ticket queue to be sure that tickets are assigned correctly and reached out to in a timely manner
  • Maintain thorough notes in the ticketing system on client concerns and resolutions
  • Assist team members as needed to complete task and provide guidance when able
  • Working with clients to educate them as needed while working with them to resolve technical concerns
  • Build client relationships by providing excellent customer service
  • Work with clients and vendor to install router by collecting necessary data, transfer data to vendor order form, configuration of router, scheduling and assisting vendor installation.
  • Work with clients to gather VoIP phone system install information via design session, complete documentation, coordinate install schedule with customer and vendor.
  • Gather the necessary client information for the successful porting of telephone numbers.
