The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a qualified Telecommunications Rate Analyst to support our contract located in Wahiawa, HI.
The Telecommunications Rate Analyst will conduct financial analysis weekly; develop reviews, analyze, and update rating schedules and billing information; ensure billing errors are corrected; and ensure conformance with DOD billing standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Enter and verify a variety of funding data in appropriate formats.
- Track and verify quality of funding data from all sources.
- Collect, review, and input data into a computer processing system and audit output data.
- May be expected to code data and input data for computer processing. Inputs shall be completed within 2 working days.
- Provide Obligation Verification Report (OVR) doc status via STARS-FL on a daily basis or as requested by the Government.
- Provide Reimbursable Funds Checkbook Detail via Command Financial Management System (CFMS) on a daily basis or as requested by the Government.
- Perform functions to include formulation of budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
- Process funding documents using financial applications to completion in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) Financial Management Regulation (FMR) 7000.14-R and other financial guidance.
- Processes approximately 40 funding documents per year.
- Ensures data posted in the financial systems are accurate and complete. Provide financial status reports as required to include responding to data calls, conducting tri-annual document review and various funds status reports, and detail reimbursable logs.
- Perform specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems; analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of resources of funds; tracking and control of funds for special programs.
- Work independently on routine, continuing assignments.
- Provides approximately 10 Program Designator Code (PDC) clarification reports on a monthly basis.
- Receives approximately 100 phone calls per month, and approximately 102 emails per month.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Required Education: High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Required Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Rate Analyst or similar position.
CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates must be U.S. citizen and possess and maintain a Secret Clearance at the date of hire.
