The Job

At Comsof, we create software that is used by fiber (FTTx) network operators and engineering firms around the globe. Our solutions use the power of GIS data combined with optimization and automation to deliver powerful results for our users. We work with many of the largest firms in the telecom industry and want to continue adding to this list of growing clients.

Specifically, you will:

  • enthusiastically share our story with organizations and help articulate the value that Comsof network design software can deliver
  • identify and target new potential clients, mainly consisting of network operators and their subcontractors (engineering firms); reliably develop a trusted advisor relationship with them
  • qualify prospective customers on video and phone calls
  • craft and deploy personalized email campaigns to prospective customers
  • developing new outbound prospecting strategies, and optimizing existing ones
  • implement the company’s strategy into your sales approach, proactively identify and engage target customers
  • demonstrate the value of Comsof’s solutions, understand the customers buying journey
  • perform online demonstrations of software, attend in-person meetings where necessary
  • listen and understand prospects; be a natural in finding ways to overcome their challenges
  • learn both network design and the functionality of GIS software to a technically competent level
  • utilize the support around you and involve your colleagues from the operations team to ensure the successful adoption and delivery of projects
  • attend industry tradeshows and conference across North America to develop new business
  • work closely together with local management, in combination with the global sales team

Your Profile


Skill and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree or similar experience
  • Experience with quota in a sales role, preferably in a complex, long sales cycle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Hunter mentality, willing to work hard to find and close new opportunities
  • Customer-centric mindset, enjoys going the extra mile to deliver for clients
  • Enjoys travel: this role will require meeting with clients and attending conferences across North America.

Bonus but definitely not required (we can teach you!)

  • Experience in telecom, fiber networks (FTTx) or outside plant
  • Experience with GIS
