Cloud Services & Infrastructure Team Leader

As our Cloud Services & Infrastructure Team Leader you will both be leading and mentoring teams of systems administrators for Windows, Storage, Telecoms and Database infrastructure services working within defined standards and security protocols as well as helping Cardif Pinnacle plan and migrate our on premise services to Azure Cloud. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to manage our third party partners to negotiate the implementation and delivery of our new infrastructure services and ensure the Azure cloud services are working optimally.

Successful candidates will be comfortable working to ITIL compliances and have an excellent understanding of IT security. We’d also love it if you have Azure Active Directory design and administration as well as experience of working in hyrbid and native cloud modes. You’ll definitely have fantastic interpersonal skills, excellent decision making and be a subject expert for our team.

What you will be doing;

• People Lead for recruitment, appraisals, reviews, training, mentoring, motivate and coach teams on Azure cloud adoption and services. Report on KPI’s, objectives, planning and work load.
• Ensure appropriate procedures, standards, security and controls for the development and support of IT Infrastructure services exist and are followed.
• To automate system maintenance and regular repeatable processes.
• To communicate with developers to ensure they are up to date with system changes.
• To document key procedures and controls in line with company standards.
• Establishing and maintaining appropriate procedures and monitoring for data backup processes.
• To provide support in response to requests for technical assistance in line with company quality and service levels.
