NOC Network Administrator

Must Haves

• Must be comfortable working Wednesday-Saturday 10PM-8AM
• 1-2 years network monitoring experience, preferably in a NOC setting
• Hands on configuration and troubleshooting experience with routers and switches
• Experience working with a Ticketing system
• Experience monitoring internal corporate networks with one or more of the following tools: (Net Cool, Net Brain, Splunk, HPNA)

Plusses

• CCNA or CCNP
• Experience working with Cisco and Juniper firewalls
• Changing firewall policies and rules

Day-to-Day

An employer is looking to add a Network Monitoring Administrator to their team in the Charlotte area. This person will join our client’s Network Operations Center and be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the client’s internal networks, hardware, and firewalls. They will provide Tier 3 support and respond to major incidents and outages as needed. It will be their job to work remotely with other internal teams to resolve issues within a timely manner.

Day-to-Day

An employer is looking to add a Network Engineer to their team in the Charlotte, NC or St. Louis, MO. This person will join our client’s Network Operations Center and be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the client’s internal networks, hardware, and firewalls. They will provide Tier 3 support and respond to major incidents and outages as needed. It will be their job to work remotely with other internal teams to resolve issues within a timely manner. They will be responsible for triaging, first line troubleshooting, and escalations. This will be 3rd shift, Wednesday-Saturday or Sunday-Wednesday 10p-8a.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
