Location: Manhattan, NYC (Onsite)
Salary: $75 to 100 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Provision of network maintenance and support services.
- Provide support to users of the system and to service delivery functions.
- Investigate and resolve problems.
- Provide advice or training to users about the network’s functionality, correct operation or constraints.
- Devise workarounds, correct faults, and make general or site-specific modifications.
Requirements:
- CCIE or CCNA certification.
- At least 5 years’ experience as a network engineer supporting large enterprise networks
- Detailed knowledge of Cisco networking systems.
- Experience with storage engineering, wide-area networking, and network virtualization.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to identify, deploy, and manage complex networking systems.
- Knowledge of Information Systems and a sound understanding of the concepts and applications of telecommunications within Information Systems.
- Familiar with principles and practices involved in development and maintenance and in service delivery.
- Good technical support understanding and the aptitude to remain up to date with developments in network security.
- Effective in both written and verbal communication.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $75.00 – $100.00 per hour
