Alliance Powerline INC specializes in building telecommunication and powerline infrastructures throughout Connecticut.

We are looking for experienced, safety-minded aerial lineman apprentices. Applicants must be team oriented, motivated to succeed and receptive to new and innovative ideas that allow us to continue to improve the service we deliver to our customers.

Cable installation work is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift 75 lbs, be comfortable with working outdoors, working at heights, confined workspaces and working in and around heavy equipment.

Under the supervision of the Aerial Foreman, successful candidates will perform a variety of duties related to installation, operation, repair of overhead and / or underground distribution systems and telecommunication facilities.

Required:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract

• Must be able to climb poles as well as work out of a bucket truck

• Must be able to adjust and adapt across varied working conditions

• Must maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all company safety rules and policies

• Must be able to work in, on and around customer’s properties while following company policies and maintaining the highest level of professionalism towards any customer, their property and any member of the public

Assets:

• Proficient in placing strand and lashing fibre

• Ability to read construction plans

• Know how to do a Make Ready / As Built

• Experience in Pole Transfers, Placing Down Guy and Installing Anchors.

• Truck driving experience
