Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications

  • The ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb
  • Must have valid driver’s license, OSHA10, CPR/First Aid
  • Clean background
  • 1-3 years’ experience
  • Sweep, Fiber and PIM testing experience
  • Extensive knowledge of wireless construction rigging practices
  • 2-4 years’ experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver and receive messages regarding work to be completed on site
  • Average computer skills to fill out safety related paperwork electronically and physically
  • Willingness to travel: 100% of the job includes travel

Responsibilities:

  • Climbing and working on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment; performs tower modifications & erect new towers
  • Communicating orally and in writing
  • Following instructions accurately and complete assigned tasks as instructed
  • Recognizing safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner
  • Work under close supervision
  • Have ability to travel, as required, for job related functions
  • Run jobs under direct supervision of the Foreman from top side of the wireless structure
  • Extensive knowledge of wireless construction installation practices and procedures for all Wireless carriers
  • Must be able to read and interpret site plans, construction drawings and scopes of work
  • Ensure safety and quality control requirements at your sites and with your crew
  • Analyzing situations accurately and adopt an appropriate course of action for the crew
  • Run jobs under direct supervision of the Construction Manager
  • Oversee the daily operations at assigned job sites
  • Implement and follow through with job instructions provided by the Project Manager
  • Lead a crew of 3 to 6 tower techs
  • Manage materials pick up and delivery
  • Must be able to provide, record and manage job site closeout and safety paperwork
  • Assess, maintain, and enforce a safe working environment at all times as per company and Governmental policies and regulations
  • Excitement to work on communication towers up to 500 feet high
  • Ability to work at heights for prolonged lengths of time
  • Strong safety focus while performing work at heights or on the ground
  • Ability to respond in an “on-call” capacity to respond to network outages
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs. regularly and up to 125 lbs. as needed
  • Company vehicles, Re-Certification training and PPE are provided
  • Foreman must have 5+ years of experience, the ability to read blueprints, BOM’s, SOP’s, be computer literate and know JSA’s.
  • Must be able to travel up to 6 to 8 weeks on the road at a time.
