Job Title: Project Cost Analyst

Type: Permanent

Salary: Commensurate with Experience

Job Specifications:

• Prepare job cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements
• Tracking, replenishing, and filling product orders
• Job tracking of profit loss against budget and daily reporting
• Maintain cost data base by entering and backing up data
• Compute job costs/budgets by analyzing labour, material and time requirements
• Prepare work to be estimated by gathering blueprints, specifications and other related documents
• Identify labour, material and time requirements by studying RFPs, blueprints, specifications and other related documents
• Compute job costs/budgets by analyzing labour, material and time requirements
• Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Present estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
• Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Procuring, shipping, receiving and inventory management of all telecommunication materials
• Ad hoc projects and identification of process improvements as required

Requirements:

• Knowledge of our specific industry (fibre optics) and everything involved in our turn-key solutions
• 5-year minimum of industry experience
• Strong analytical mind-set with focus on bottom-line results
