**CONTRACT TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY**
The Project Specialist, as part of the Project Coordination team, plays a crucial role in the client’s success by ensuring the timely installation of services for customers and successful completion of internal projects. The Project Specialist manages a variety of projects and tasks, including administration and oversight of various team schedules & activities; project tracking and coordinating site access for field teams. In addition the Project Specialist serves as the point of contact with our end customers and acts as the go between for all teams and the customer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely service installation by coordinating and tracking work tasks between sales, field operations, network engineering and the end customer or property.
- Primary interface for customer, providing regular updates, status, and changes.
- Plan and Coordinate multiple complex projects which include multiple services, locations and deliverables with differing timelines.
- Accurately Track and report on project status and milestones, including key dates and activities including raising issues as they arise.
- Pro-actively identify project issues/risks and work to resolve them before projects are negatively impacted. Work across teams to find solutions to keep projects on time and on budget.
- Responsible for reporting the project cost and scope variances as identified by Project team estimates versus actuals for the duration of the project.
- Complete projects on time to original baseline and on budget.
- Enter contract and service information and data in internal systems.
- Provide timely response to internal and external customers via both written and verbal communication.
- Act as the point of contact and pro-actively communicate project status to all project stakeholders.
- Process internal requests for site access with third-parties, working with end users and properties to arrange and confirm site access for our field teams.
- Responsible for the proper closeout of the service order(s) with the customer and within the appropriate systems in accordance with company policies and procedures and provides any formal documentation required to the customer such as completion notices and customer support information.

Skill and Knowledge Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Relevant trade school or project certification(s) a plus
Experience:
- Previous experience in project coordination or construction management
- Experience in telecom or internet service provider, WISP or similar business a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of internet and network technologies and designs
- Knowledge of construction projects, timelines and critical paths
- Strong computer skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products/Google Docs/Gmail.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem solving, attention to detail and time management skills are required.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple simultaneous tasks and work activities at once
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required including end user customer service skills.
- Need to be a self-starter with an ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without supervision.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
