Drive tandem dump truck with tag trailer, operate loader backhoe in proximity to buried
utilities. Applicant must be fit and prepared to perform labour.
Experience with underground utility installation desirable. 5 -10 years of Telecom experience preferred.
Must be willing to work out of town, overtime, and occasional weekends.

Driving/operating are the primary duties but the applicant, and all other employees, will also provide labour support for the crew as necessary. Class 1 license is an asset.

Labour activities include setting up traffic control, securing excavations, connecting conduits, sweeping, shoveling, loading materials, placing cable, cleaning the site/vehicle/equipment.

We are looking for a full-time employee that wants a CAREER. Only stable, qualified individuals need apply. We are a small company with a stable workload and stable clients. All our operators also perform any task necessary to accomplish our work, so there is labour involved for all crew members.

The successful applicant will be a self-starter that is physically and mentally capable of working in a team environment. Predictable income is reliant on the successful candidate being able to perform the work which includes job layout, utility investigation, site security (traffic control & work site isolation); operating equipment, installing materials, back-filling, clean up & landscaping.

We have an excellent safety program and insist that our work sites are clean, organized, and safe for our employees and the public. Many of our projects are on or adjacent to municipal roadways and public buildings, worksite coordination and safety are of the utmost importance.

Qualifications & Skills:
 reasonably clean 3 year Class 1 commercial driver’s abstract required
 Horizontal Directional Drill experience on utility projects an asset.
 Loader backhoe experience on utility projects required
 physically fit, ability to lift 50 lbs required
 references required
 dependable, stable individuals only
