What will I be doing?

The Telecommunications Administrator is responsible for the deployment, maintenance, support and administration of Hilton HGV’s enterprise telephony systems and integrated contact center applications. This position will coordinate closely with HGV business partners, Hilton/HGV IT resources and strategic vendor partners to deploy, administer and maintain reliable telephony and contact center solutions.

You will be responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as primary support for HGV’s Enterprise Telecommunications Systems and all integrated contact center applications
  • Administer and maintain a highly available, fully redundant TDM and SIP network to the PSTN.
  • Perform interoperability testing and turn-up of TDM and SIP trunks to the PSTN and internal network.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve service issues related to VoIP platforms, systems, and contact center applications
  • Responsible for basic call routing logic through HGV Telephony Systems including vectoring, scripting, and use of AT&T Route-It!.
  • Analyze, review and apply security vulnerabilities in a VoIP network.
  • Monitor call quality, usage and capacity.
  • Serve as primary liaison to internal business partners to collaborate on telephony and call center application solutions
  • Develop and maintain operational process and procedure documents.
  • Participate in on call rotation for after hours support

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Minimum Skill Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Computer related discipline or Engineering (or substitute equivalent experience)
  • Broad knowledge and experience with Avaya Communication Manager Call Routing and Vectoring
  • Broad Knowledge and experience with Geneys PureConnect and CIC Administration
  • Foundational knowledge of CTI including TSAPI and DMCC integrations
  • Foundational knowledge of SIP, RTP and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Foundational knowledge of VoIP QoS issues and mitigation strategies.
  • Minimum 2 years of Technical Operational experience with PSTN Carrier networks.
  • Ability to perform server and file administration using Windows RDP, Putty, Terminal Emulators, FTP/SFTP clients
  • Ability to perform SIP debugging with Wireshark and other tools to capture/analyze SIP/ RTP traces to isolate/resolve issues
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix operating system and/or related subsystems
  • Experience with Session Border Controllers (SBC) is a plus.
  • Experience with toll free routing using AT&T Route-It! is a plus
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
