PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Subrogation Specialist is responsible for the investigation, analysis, negotiation, settlement and recovery of our clients lost indemnity and deductible recoveries.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investigate, negotiate and settle third party subrogation claims meeting company standards
- Investigate and recover GL Deductibles and Premiums
- Secure all required loss details and relevant information for successful recovery
- Knowledge of Small Claims Court procedure
SUPERVISION/REPORTING (Received/Exercised)
- Duties are carried out with minimal supervision
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years all lines insurance experience
- Minimum 3 years investigative experience
- Minimum 2 years Subrogation claims handling experience
- Small Claims Court experience
- Self-motivated & goal oriented
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong technical claims knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Leadership/management/motivational skills
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills

- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
- Assisting Director of Investigation Services
- Ad hoc duties as required
