JOB TITLE: TELECOMMUNICATIONS NETWORK/ENGINEERING ANALYST

JOB LOCATION: UK with some travel to Belfast required

TERMS: Interim contract – circa 2 months + (immediate start preferred)

THE JOB

This interim project role seeks a broadband network engineering and design expertise.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be responsible for the following areas and activities:

· Conceptual core network layer 2 & layer 3 design based on specific requirements and interoperability with the existing network and 3rd party networks

· Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify different connectivity options in order to design an effective set of options based on costs

· Estimate timeframe for network build and RFS

· Estimate in-exchange FCP costs

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

· Telecommunications network design experience 5 years+

· Experience of layer 2 and layer 3 network design

· Experience of wholesale network products e.g. PIA / DFX

· Experience of capital and operational network costing

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders

· Self-starter and proactive approach
