Network Support Engineer

NOTE: This is a hybrid position (1-2 days per week in office). Candidates must reside in on of the following locations:

Overview

A national telecommunications company is looking to hire a Network Support Engineer to join their team in one of their local hubs across the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting general contractors working on cell site antenna systems. This support will be done via phone and email and is vital to ensuring the cell site is completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities Include:

• Remotely supporting general contractors working with radio equipment on cell site antenna systems
• Performing health checks within internal tools
• Performing health checks on recently converted sites (analyzing KPIs and RF health)
• Documenting tasks performed within internal tools
• Engaging appropriate teams when needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with at least one of the following technologies: LTE, 5G operations
• Proficient knowledge of antenna system RF concepts
• Experience with Samsung USM, Nokia WebEM
• Knowledge of LTE, VoLTE and 5G KPIs
• PIM/VSWR/MIMO/RET experience including knowledge of fiber and LTE radio heads
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
