Senior Structured Trader (f/d/m)
for EWE TRADING GmbH, located in Bremen.
Your new position:
- P&L responsibility for Green Power Portfolio of EWE Group as well as expansion of existing and development of new business in Green PPAs and related structured products
- Development and implementation of profitable portfolio strategies
- Identification and trading of suitable offsetting products for onboarded contract structures
- Act as a competence center for development, pricing and hedging of green and other complex products across EWE Group
- Drive forward improvement of methodologies for pricing and hedging of structured products, especially PPA products, and relevant processes
- Additionally, opportunity for proprietary trading within approved limits (European power, fuels and EUAs)
Your profile:
- Advanced degree in natural science, engineering, or economics (diploma, master, or PhD level)
- Several years of experience in the active management or structuring of non-linear or cross-commodity portfolios from a front office perspective, and an above-average P&L track record are highly advantageous
- Broad range of knowledge and experience with complex energy commodity products (e. g. PPAs or non-linear products) is desirable
- Advanced capability to model complex financial structures as well as expertise in object-oriented programming (e. g. in Python) are advantageous
- Expert ability to explain and communicate impact of price and volatility changes on deal and position value
- Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude, result orientation and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Very good German and English skills
