In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain models to depict projected financial results and to value companies
- Work closely with senior bankers on client presentations, financial and credit analysis, and the preparation of financial projections and models, including valuations and merger consequences
- Perform comprehensive company and industry research
- Prepare presentations and other materials for clients
- Be a member of a team executing advisory services across products including M&A, equity, debt, leveraged finance, etc.
- Participate in client meetings, due diligence visits, and other client interactions to gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers
- Work as part of teams to deliver Wells Fargo’s comprehensive services to clients
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of investment banking experience, or equivalent, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, and education
Desired Qualifications
Analysts must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills and personal motivation. It is strongly preferred that you can demonstrate:
- Skills to work effectively both independently and as part of team
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Interest in financial markets with knowledge attained through coursework, individual study and prior work experience
- Proven ability to take on significant responsibility
- Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious and proactive
- An individual who demonstrates a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
Job Expectations
- Registration for FINRA exams including Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 63 and Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date, if they are not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
Pay Range
$100,800.00 – $179,200.00 Annual
