Telecommunications Project Engineer

Salary: $60k – 80k per year + Benefits
Reference: TJJ 7-20.3

Project Engineer, you will assist Project Managers and Field Management in the planning, management direction, project completion, customer satisfaction and positive financial outcome of assigned construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a solid team with room for growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring project planning, execution and closure
• Establish and maintain project management files/document control
• Research and acquire submittals and operations and maintenance manuals
• Track incoming and outgoing submittals
• Coordinate, log and file all project correspondence
• Work with purchasing department to order material
• Assist in estimating and tracking change orders
• Assist with writing and tracking RFI’s
• Assist Project Management with tasks as requested
• Assist Field Management with tasks as requested

Preferred Skills

• Degree (or working towards a degree) in Construction Management
• Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principals and techniques, as well as accounting principals
• Knowledge of low voltage systems
• Strong computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office
• Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills
