Working with partners in marketing, finance, sales and operations, the Channel Forecasting team will maintain accurate forecast models and providing regular results updates to the executive team to ensure channels are meeting overall BRS objectives.
The successful candidate is an enthusiastic team player with a history of collaborating with numerous partners and cross-functional teams to influence decision making to achieve results. They have prior experience in the telecom industry and well developed forecasting, business intelligence and market analysis experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for weekly and monthly updates of sales & activations MEE to channel directors and executives
Overseeing the monthly target setting process to ensure channel targets are fair and on time
Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast and metric reports & provide analysis for the organization including the ongoing refinement of key performance metrics and dashboards
Work with the sales and operations leadership team to drive the annual and quarterly strategic planning cycle
Actively seek opportunities and insights to improve forecasting models, target setting process and sales results
Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching in the development of two forecasting specialists
Essential Qualifications:
3+ years experience in Planning, Strategy or Marketing
Strong analytical & problem solving skills
Excellent personal and leadership skills with an ability to influence key decision makers at multiple levels
Ability to hear, synthesize ideas and build consensus
Advanced skills in MS Excel and Power Point
Ability to build thoughtful and compelling executive-level presentations and to deliver recommendations with confidence
Strong leadership skills, self-starter, and fully self governing
Ability to build strong partner relationships
Strong negotiator
Preferred Qualifications:
University degree with a Mathematics, Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics and/or related discipline
Experience in Telecommunications, forecasting or planning is an asset
