SUMMARY:

We are hiring for the entry level position of WirelessInstallation Helper based out of the Schomberg location. The ideal candidate will have a great work ethic while working as part of a team helping to install wireless telecommunications in York Region and Simcoe County. This entry level position holds the potential for advancement. We are willing to provide hands on field training to the right candidate willing to work hard and learn the industry.

The ideal candidate will assist in performing field work, servicing and installing wireless to residential and business customers. This includes helping with the installation functions associated with the addition, modification and removal of all technology equipment, hardware, testing, drilling, running cabling and ladder work.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Representing Vianet in a positive and professional manner in the field.

· Assisting with service calls to a variety of customer sites including residential and business.

· Helping to service & install wireless on days, afternoons, evenings & weekend shifts.

· Supporting all installation functions associated with the addition, modification and removal of all technology equipment, hardware, testing, drilling and running cabling.

· Helping with ladder work and roof top work.

· Assisting with assessing and troubleshooting equipment.

· Responding to service calls and installs in a timely fashion.

· Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers.

· Adhering to all policies and procedures including safety.

· Working inside and outside with exposure to the elements.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

· Previous experience in a technical related field is preferred but we are willing to provide hands on training.

· Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.

· A valid Ontario driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.

· Strong computer skills and tech savvy.

· Safety conscious worker at all times.

· Comfortable working safely at heights.

· Safety Certifications are preferred but not required as we will train and certify in: Working at Heights, Ladder Safety, WHMIS, First Aid & CPR.

· In good physical shape with the ability to perform physical labour for extended periods.

· An upbeat attitude with a positive approach to customer service.

· Regular and reliable time and attendance is an essential job function.

· Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

· Good people skills with the ability to build relationships.

· Well organized with good time management skills.

· A team player with a good attitude and the ability to work well with others.

· Fast learner with the willingness to learn and eagerness to try new things.
