Porter Services provides full turn-key services in telecommunications construction and maintenance in the Greater Toronto Area. We are a prime sub-contractor to Rogers Communications.
We are growing our operation and are looking for experienced workers to perform outdoor construction labour in the GTA.
We are willing to train apprentice level workers who are looking to start a career in the telecommunications industry.
Primary Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Locating and digging up mainline faults, splicing and restoring.
- Back-filling and landscape restoration.
- Assist crew members in the removal of cabling.
- Completion of operator equipment daily review checklists.
- Able to lift, reach, dig, and carry heavy objects.
- A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.
- Able to work in all weather conditions, including extreme cold.
