Installation and Repair Technician – Telecommunications

We are looking for highly talented individuals to help build our sales and profits for existing and potential customers. This involves time in-store evaluating customer needs, providing solutions as well as the hands-on repair of chip-level repair of cell phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. Applicants should have a love for Apple® products and the desire to learn advanced troubleshooting and soldering of chip/IC replacement and HDMI repairing for Gaming Consoles.

Essential Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite PCB level repair for cellular phones, Apple/PC laptops, and desktop computers.
• Provide Motherboard level repair for Mobile device repair (iPhone’s, iPad’s, Androids, etc).

• Setup Macbooks and mobile devices.

• Possess knowledge of smart devices, gadgets, Apple watch and gaming consoles.

• Possess In-depth knowledge of Mac OSX and iOS systems as well as Windows PC systems.

• Use problem-solving and people skills to ensure swift resolutions to technical problems.

• Provide accurate timelines for repairs and upgrades.

• Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, replace and/or repair computer and mobile hardware failures.
• Provide in-store retail customer service as needed.

• Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service and product needs in showroom.
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence, offering suggestions and opinions.
• Show a positive outlook and outgoing personality as a representative for our brand.
• Meet and/or exceed service goals.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s services and pricing structure.
• Manage the day-to-day schedule for service and sales-centered tasks.

Education:

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience:

2 years to less than 3 years
