AV Project Manager

Salary: $75k – 100k per year

Gpac is partnering with a company that has nearly 40 years of experience in the design and installation of integrated technology services; Structured Cabling, Security Management Systems, and Audio Visual Systems throughout California and Northern Nevada.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Audio-Visual Systems Project Manager with experience installing, programming, testing and troubleshooting equipment for our Sacramento, California location.

Position Overview

Under minimal supervision, the Audio-Visual Systems Project Manager will be responsible for managing the on-site installation of audio-visual systems equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, control equipment, and other related devices for a complete project installation.

Responsibilities

• Directs team members assigned to project tasks and operational activities associated with audio-visual jobs
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of projects to ensure that all project goals are accomplished, meeting and/or exceeding commitments to the customer
• Control all elements of the project for the client and the installation team through effective and consistent communication
• Meeting with Project Engineer, Account Executive and Operations Manager to gain understanding for project scope
• Place orders on a timely basis for materials required for project as indicated by Project Engineer
• Reviews engineering submittals
• Visit job site regularly to coordinate installation for project
• Communicate project concerns and suggestions, both verbally and in writing, with Operations Manager

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the following systems:

• Crestron, Extron, QSC, Shure, etc.

• Successful history of programming, testing and commissioning completed audio visual systems
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, employees, vendors and management
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to shifting priorities
