Network Engineer

A client is seeking a Network Engineer to work in the customer owned OTN Network of a large telecommunications company in the downtown Denver area. This candidate will monitor, investigate, triage, troubleshoot, remediate, and maintain network systems for performance, efficiency, stability, and availability. They will process RMA and hardware replacements and upgrades per best practices as well as ensure day-to-day operations of technology infrastructure.

Must-haves:

• Strong customer focus as the position will be working in the customer location daily
• 4+ years experience working with Transport technologies, DWDM, Infinera, etc.
• Understanding of how a signal flows through a transport system and loop testing
• Experience with OTDR (testing equipment)

Plusses:

• Ciena 6500 OTN experience
• Transmode

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Pay: $38.00 – $42.00 per hour
