Position Summary:
The Telecommunications Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and performing moves, adds, and changes, acting as a liaison between end user and vendor support for phone systems, wireless providers, and telecommunication vendors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate, review, and perform moves, adds, and changes required for efficient operation at local offices.
- Coordinate, review, and perform maintenance tasks required for efficient operation of the OTC phone system.
- Coordinate, review, and manage relationships with wired and wireless telecommunication vendors and partners to allow best experience for end users.
- Review and maintain accurate information of wired and wireless lines to allow for accurate accounting of invoices.
- Maintain and prepare required reports relevant to the operations of the telecommunications systems.
- Review and plan integration of new locations and companies to the OTC phone system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or five (5) years related experience.
- Preferred CompTIA Security + Certification or equivalent
- Knowledge of various telecom technologies including DIDs, Toll Free, SIP Trunks
- Knowledge of Mitel/ShoreTel Phone System
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Up to 25% travel to offsite locations required.
- High-energy, self-motivated, well-organized
- Work cooperatively with other OTC associates; be a Team player.
