Our Project Managers serve as the main contact for CSG product(s) knowledge for our client through projection completion.

We are looking for a Project Manager who will accomplish project objectives by planning and developing project activities. This role is customer oriented and must support the client Implementations for the Delivery organization.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Manages negotiates project implementation time frames, overall project plan including deliverables, testing, and implementation support
  • Project management solutions for clients taking full delivery ownership and embedding the delivery methodology into our project delivery approach. Typical scope – Project(s) or component(s) of a larger project.
  • Provides overall leadership to entire project team, including overseeing other functional team leaders
  • Creates and manages the estimates, project plan, project schedule, resource allocation and expenses to ensure targets are reached
  • Ensures that customer deadlines are met within project budgets
  • Plans and integrates the work of multiple teams on a project
  • Identifies issues and risks in a timely manner and develops/implements appropriate mitigation and contingency plans
  • Reports project status in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicates with internal/external clients to determine specific requirements and expectations; manage client expectations as an indicator of quality, perform timely escalations
  • Works with the relevant managers for project staffing and resource releases
  • Follows the project life cycle methodology defined under the process framework
  • Ensures compliance to principles of quality assurance and document management within the Services delivery team.
  • Provides line management function and provide input on team performance and reward
  • Responsible for maintaining positive and ongoing relationships with clients
  • Takes on project supervisory responsibility and provides mentorship and coaching to an entire project team
  • Will maintain the customer relationship as the firs point of contact.
  • You will Interface with internal staff, external clients and vendors
  • Manages client relationships, negotiates project implementation time frames, overall project plan including deliverables, testing, and implementation support
  • Manages projects using standardized project management methodology and procedures
  • Provide weekly updates on project health, progress, and potential risks. Works on projects of diverse scope.
  • Drive projects that are not fully defined
  • Ability to execute project plans and implementation plans simultaneously
  • Successfully manage multiple large projects simultaneously
  • Complete the cost forecast and revenue forecast for projects assigned.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • High-level knowledge of CSG’s products and services, and telecommunications and technology
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Skillful problem solver
  • Builds close rapport and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
  • Has knowledge and skill level of applicable software tools and processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously, proven organizational and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 40% and work non-standard hours as required Significant experience gained from working in the IT/Telecommunications industry
  • Significant project management experience in managing large implementation/software development projects
  • Knowledge and experience in agile methodology would be an added advantage
  • In-depth understanding of customer needs and general impact of changes in business environment and industry trends. In-depth understanding of client’s industry (wireline, wireless, data services, cable systems, pre/post-paid business models etc.)
  • An ability to understand and anticipate the client’s needs and provide consultancy as required
  • Specialized project management skills to plan, monitor and track projects to meet the target KPIs
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and diagnose complex problems
  • Requires team leadership skills
  • Solid team leadership skills to exchange ideas and create a common understanding of project work from conception through issue resolution.
  • Expert level communication and presentation skills to influence and gain cooperation both with customer and internally. Ability to interact comfortably with senior management and to convey information at the appropriate level.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively within and across one or more assignments through good judgement, seeking guidance where appropriate.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and influence senior technical and business resources.
  • Ability to deal credibly with and influence Sales.

  • Non-standard work hours be required and the ability to be on-call.

Qualifications desired:

  • PMP Certification
  • Agile certified
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project
