Telecommunications Engineer with cloud

Job Description : –

Must Have Skills/Experience

1. Hands on experience on 4G/5G Packet Core Domain.

2. Good hands on experience on IMS Domain ( Mainly in messaging domain).

3. In depth Working Knowledge on Core Network Policy Engine – PCRF and Online charging System ( OCS)

4. Practical experience with Cloud native solutions for 5G Solutions.

5. Worked on Public and Private cloud solutions based on AWS/Azure.

• Completely fluent in English language both written and verbal at a professional level (this is

a client facing role);

• 3 + years experience in the telecommunications industry

• Working experience with LTE/5G mobile communication and network functions;

• Extensive experience with UNIX/Linux;

• Experience with automation using scripting languages, such as Bash and/or Python;

• Experience with snoop traces/packet captures and the ability to read them as well

(Wireshark);

• Working knowledge regarding SQL & NoSQL Databases;

• Working knowledge about IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, IP networking;

• Working knowledge about alarming, SNMP and monitoring tools like ELK,Splunk,*

Prometheus, or Grafana;

• Hands-on working experience with OpenStack or related experience within public cloud*

IaaS;

• Completely fluent in English language both written and verbal at a professional level (this is

a client facing role);

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or

equivalent experience.

Nice to Have Skills/Experience

• *Familiar with containerization concepts and technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm)

• Experience with configuration management platforms such as Ansible, Puppet and Chef

• Experience integrating with CI/CD pipelines;

• Basic knowledge about online/offline charging;

• Experience with IMS and components; and

• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Full-time

Salary: $55.00-$60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
