Role Summary

We are looking for a project manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end deployment delivery and Messaging/Core product integration in the operator’s network. The project manager will be held responsible and accountable to manage the implementation of all the technical and commercial aspects of the deployment of the customer project in terms of booking orders, securing equipment, installation, integration, schedule, cost, delivery, change control, quality and customer acceptance from the project offer preparation to customer acceptance. The project manager will work directly with all the departments in the company to achieve the delivery goals, being the single point of contact for the delivery and integration and will supervise the work of the project team members, 3rd party vendors and customer personnel to achieve the project deployment and readiness within the planned cost and schedule. The project manager also manages the customer relationship within the scope of the contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Prime customer contact and accountability to the management team for project implementation and support
• Define project scope [as per contract]
• Develop project plans and schedule, internally and with customer
• Secure and manage internal, third party, and customer resources to implement project plan
• Identify and manage the project risks, provide mitigations and resolution plans
• Identify, monitor and manage changes in the project
• Manage tactical contingency plans.
• Allocate tasks and priorities as needed.
• Lead regular status update calls on program, internally and with customer
• Provide regular status and financial reports to joint project team as well as joint management team
• Obtain project acceptance from internal and customer stakeholders
• Interface with Product Management and Sales Eng for Roadmap Release / Feature Development & Delivery
• Interface with R&D to monitor SW delivery timeline and release quality needed for the deployment
• Ensure Project completion

Job Requirements

• Project Management experience with technical teams on large-scale and fast-paced projects
• Strong verbal and written diplomacy, facilitation, and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate vertically and horizontally based on audience
• Experience in providing leadership to multi-functional, geographically disparate teams with diverse professionals in a fast-paced technical product environment
• Experience managing cross-team projects with the ability to prioritize workloads
• Focused self-starter, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently under pressure with decisiveness and confidence
• A fast learner with willingness and ability to develop new disciplines and learn new technologies/skills quickly
• Engineering degree in the Telecom/IT field
• Fluency in English, German
