You are a “Hunter” and have extensive experience growing business through Dealers/Channel Partners in the telecommunications industry. You are looking for a fast paced, fast growing company in a new technology industry, where the business growth is directly tied to your effort. Sigfox Canada has built a national IoT network as part of the Sigfox Global IoT network and we are now at the point where we are aggressively building out our distribution with a primary focus on Channel Partners. Sigfox Canada will be expanding their service offering to include other IoT technologies as well as proven end-to-end customer solutions, including pursuing massive IoT solutions. This means there are now 1000’s of sensors capable of providing cutting edge data for almost any business and any application, the market opportunity is literally unlimited. How fast we grow will be tied to how hard you work, and how successful you are at building and growing distribution.

Job Description

The Channel Partner Manager is responsible for developing partnerships with the Channel Partner’s Senior Leadership teams to build strategies, deliver and drive sales, articulate a clear vision and generate enthusiasm, while impacting the overall performance of the Channel Partner.

Analyze various industries, develop and execute strategies to identify and target Industry Influencers to become Sigfox Channel Partners.

As a Channel Partner Manager, you will:

  • Be actively involved in the development of business plans with the Channel Partners and will serve as a resource in all aspect of selling
  • Develop growth plans and strategies for specific industries and proven IoT solutions, and deliver on those plans
  • Have excellent time management and prioritization skills with strong ability to recognize larger opportunities with high probability of closing
  • Prepare business presentations and complete corporate profiles to design and implement sales strategies
  • Develop quarterly action plans with management to grow distribution and revenue
  • Leverage Salesforce.com to document and follow up on all sales calls, sales visits, dealer visits, and service requests across all partners

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years successful experience in B2B sales in a technology industry, preferably telecommunications or other technology products
  • 3+ years of previous experience managing Dealers, Channel Partners, or indirect distribution
  • Can establish credibility quickly and can effectively communicate to senior level executives
  • Outstanding time & territory management, decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skills
  • Post Secondary Education, preferably in business
  • High level athletic background a bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Commission pay

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Sales: 3 years (preferred)
