The PCard Administrative Program Coordinator is accountable for the overall process and functionality of the purchasing card program databases and daily requests to new and existing cardholder accounts.

An employee hired into this role who telecommutes will be responsible for providing space, telephone, printing, networking and/or internet capabilities at the telecommute location and sign the University of Utah Telecommuting Agreement.

Responsibilities
1. Provides extensive support and customer service for cardholders, reallocators, and supervisors through phone calls and email regarding purchasing card accounts, reallocation system, and specific purchasing card issues.
2. Specializes in purchasing card data maintenance in bank systems, the reallocation interface, PeopleSoft, and other internal systems.
3. Processes forms and requests.
4. Facilitates trainings for groups of cardholders and reallocators comprised of both university and hospital employees. Continuously organizes and reevaluates training materials and presentation formats.
5. Processes detailed reports for purchasing card program. Compiles reports requested by departments and purchasing card manager.
6. Analyzes bank and internal systems data.
7. Communicates with bank regarding reporting issues and questions.
8. Manages special projects as delegated by the purchasing card manager.
9. Assists as a back-up for purchasing card audits and month-end process.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency required (2 years related work experience be substituted for 1 year of education). Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
