HVAC Distribution Sales and Operations Manager

AccuAir, Inc., a Florida HVAC Engineered Products Distributor, is seeking a Sales and Operations Manager to manage sales, engineering, and customer support for HVAC products used in education, industrial, telecom/data center, and general commercial buildings throughout the Florida peninsula. The position includes management of all internal and external sales and operations, and will be in the office for approx. 60-80% of workdays, with the remaining days being sales or project travel within Florida. This leadership role encompasses oversight and management of all employees, customers, prospects, and active projects, plus lead and/or assist with sales presentations, training, and field/site meetings. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and selection criteria to lead the Company by adding value to customers during design, pre-construction, installation and service to ensure that appropriate equipment is selected and procured to meet the owner’s needs.

The Manager will:

· Have a minimum of five (5) years of commercial HVAC sales and project/operations experience.

· Thrive in a small business environment where the pace is fast/dynamic, and requires flexibility and excellent organizational skills to lead the team; all while enjoying the benefits of a small office environment without red tape and politics.

· Participate in management team meetings and tasks, including both short term and long term strategic planning.

· Possess commercial HVAC market knowledge to meet the needs of owner requirements, energy efficiency requirements and code requirements. Have detailed knowledge of commercial DX equipment, ventilation systems, VAV systems, and chilled water systems.

· Have a deep understanding of the technical requirements of HVAC equipment selections applied to specific applications and requirements.

· Report directly to Company executives/ownership.

· Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Be highly organized and able to multi-task.

· Utilize his/her knowledge, experience and other resources to make quick and accurate decisions.

The Manager will be based in the Apopka office (Orlando area). Spanish fluency is a plus. A Company vehicle, cell phone, and all business travel expenses are paid by the Company. Salary will be commensurate with experience with significant bonus based on Company performance. The position will fully participate in the Company’s employee benefits program including but not limited to health insurance, 401k contribution (employer 5% compensation contribution), as well as other benefits.
