To support the rapid growth and international expansion of our organization we are looking for an Enterprise Sales Development Representative (also called ‘SDR’), to become part of our Enterprise Sales team.
Location: Breda, the Netherlands (HQ). We work hybrid.
What you’ll do
As Enterprise Sales Development Representative your main goal is to create highly qualified sales leads for our entire product portfolio, including our Software (SaaS) and Messaging proposition. By working according the SaaS Sales Methodology, you will be responsible for educating, qualifying and developing new target accounts and inbound and outbound sales leads. You will have the freedom to show your entrepreneurship and create sales-ready leads and opportunities.
In this role you will be focusing on one or more of the following industries: Government & Education, Financial Services, Logistics & Transport, Utility & Telecom and Healthcare.
In addition to that, you are mainly responsible for:
- Taking ownership over the incoming leads and create new ones (outbound) through a variety of tools like phone, email and social channels like LinkedIn; the focus in your role will be prospecting and outbound lead generation;
- Supporting the Account Executives and Account Managers in your team by arranging sales appointments / meetings;
- Research accounts, identify new key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities;
- Online consultancy calls with multiple decision makers of prospects;
- Successfully handle and overcome prospect objections;
- Become a trusted resource and develop productive relationships with prospects;
- Organize demo appointments with prospects;
- Use our CRM (Salesforce) as your friend and keep it up to date.
The success in your role is reflected in the number of sales ready leads and opportunities you are able to create and the conversion of prospects. You have the freedom to show your entrepreneurship and create sales ready leads and gain the confidence to work independently.
The Team
In this role you are part of the Enterprise Sales team. This team focuses on our largest customers: large Enterprise organizations in the mentioned segments.
You will work closely together with experienced Account Executives and Account Managers in your team to make sure there is a the continuous stream of qualified leads. The great part of this role is that you really the team’s driving force; the other team members depending on your efforts.
Furthermore it is a great opportunity to learn from the seasoned professionals in your team.
What you offer
- The desire and commitment to be in Sales;
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a commercial direction;
- At least 2 years’ work experience in sales or a similar role;
- Experience in prospecting, including cold calling is strongly preferred;
- Ambitious to grow in the sales profession;
- Excellent communication skills; fluent in Dutch and English;
- Good analytical skills; you’re able to value leads and identify opportunities;
- Highly motivated to realize results;
- The ability to deal and address objections and open to being coached;
- Affinity with software / SaaS or technology is a pre;
- Willingness to visit prospects, sales exhibitions and events from time to time.
