The Opportunity

Our IOT & Engineering Team specializes in delivering the most complex projects which require cross-functional technical skillsets in challenging and dynamic project environments. CP’s area of focus is Product Engineering, Plant Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Operations Management, Industry 4.0, Industrial Internet of Things and Consumer Internet of Things. The team has presence across industries, with extensive traction in Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Telecom Energy and Utilities, Retail, Automotive and Consumer Goods. Clients count on our Manufacturing and IOT expertise to help them architect the bridge between the physical world of sensors, machines, industrial processes, places, people and the digital world of software, IoT platforms and data. For our Industrial Manufacturing customers in Europe, we require qualified Mendix Developers to be a part of the engineering teams. You will:

• Work in Agile projects to build solutions in Mendix
• Map user requirements into software specifications for implementation within the Mendix platform
• Work with Project stake holders to implement application requirements
• Collaborate with other technology and business teams within the organization to provide efficient robust solutions to the problems
• Collaborate with other development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions
• Work within a team environment to build solutions on the Mendix platform
• Support deployments or troubleshot production issues
• Mentoring junior developers
• Preparing technical artifacts (i.e. Application Architecture, Database Schema etc.)

Required & nice-to-have Skills

Must-haves:

• 3+ years of experience in building software solutions on Mendix platform
• Overall 6+ years of experience in IT industry
• Experience on using Mendix Developer Studio for designing and developing Web-based applications
• Knowledge of building Microflows and Nanoflows and using Containers
• Code review and code refractor experience
• Able to work on Mendix modeler previous versions
• Creating or configuring scheduler/s experience
• Documents generation using Mendix experience
• Experience in configuring users in Mendix environment
• Strong knowledge of implementing & debugging web services
• Knowledge of export & importing data
• Strong knowledge in using Mendix components for Page building, CSS, Widgets1 Understanding Data models and SQL Query Building
• Knowledge of deploying applications to on-premise & Cloud
• Build applications using Schema Domain Entity Design, User Interface Development for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile devices
• Experience in Integrations using OData Framework, SOAP, JSON / REST Web Services and Mendix Data Hub
• Strong customer interfacing and conflict resolution skills
