The successful candidate will be familiar enough with Satellite and Terrestrial Telecom technologies to function as a proposal writer and editor with previous experience as a Volume Lead (aka Book Boss). Excellent research skills and the ability to write persuasively and articulately are essential. The ability to support desktop publishing responsibilities including the knowledge and/or capability to use graphics applications (Adobe Illustrator, Visio, etc.) is desirable.

Candidate may opt to work on a full or part-time basis.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• The candidate will be an expert user of Microsoft Office products: (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Access, and Visio is very desirable.
• Minimum of Associates degree in a related field and 5 years’ experience required
• Minimum of 3 years’ working knowledge of the FAR and GSAR regulations

Responsibilities/Duties: The successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Support the technical and management areas of assigned telecom
• Support receipt of Request for proposal, Information, and Quotes (RFP, RFI, and RFQs)
• Research and use excellent proposal writing skills
• Produce proposals with content that is concisely, articulately, and persuasively
• Create proposals that written with logically organized ideas.
• Review and understand Satellite/Telecom products or services
• Support graphics development and recommend the best production methods
• Use excellent Proposal Writing skills to produce quality products
• Use superior English oral communication skills
• Utilize excellent problem solving and investigative skills
• Demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills
• Produce presentation and deliver proposal briefings to direct report and executive management
• Perform documentation reviews and edits for style, copy, spelling, and grammar

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• expert user of MS Office products: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint): 5 years (Preferred)
• MS Project: 3 years (Preferred)
• * Review/understand Satellite/Telecom products & services: 1 year (Preferred)
