100% Remote Sr. Software Engineer

Piper Companies is currently searching for a fully remote Sr. Software Engineer with Azure experience to work as a full-time employee for a leading provider of co-branded patient financing solutions. The company has helped over one million consumers afford out of pocket medical expenses for health systems nationwide.

What you can expect

• Design, build, deploy and support new and existing applications and services for our platform, using Domain Driven Microservices Architecture
• Work on cloud-based solutions in Azure, defining and implementing the appropriate cloud resources for the solution
• Develop interfaces for 3rd party application integrations
• Partner with DevOps to ensure build pipeline standards are implemented
• Collaborate on a cross-functional product team to refine requirements, estimate user stories, and plan sprints

What you bring

• 6+ years of object-oriented programming experience using C#, .NET/.NET Core
• Experience delivering cloud-native solutions on Azure in production
• Advanced knowledge of common software design patterns, and best practices
• Ability to write clean, high quality, performant code with good test coverage
• Proficient in relational and non-relational database design and usage

Preferred Experience

• Real-world experience with Azure native resources such as: AKS, Queue Storage, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, App Service, Function Apps, API Management, Key Vault
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Understanding of Federated Identity, OAuth2, OpenID Connect
