Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of accounts payable and accountants reporting to Supervisors
  • Oversee AP subcontractor management team, providing guidance on process and issues resolution
  • Coordinate work flow and assist in labor invoice reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely payment
  • Maintain organized filing and documentation control
  • Identify and communicate system needs and enhancements
  • Develop, implement and maintain work stream related processes and procedures ensuring internal controls and best practices
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of internal and external reporting needs, ensuring the quality, reliability and timeliness of the reports; generate ad hoc reports as required
  • Coordinates and supports the Company’s strategic and operational planning
  • Support various special projects as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field or minimum of 5 years of equivalent progressive experience
  • 4+ years of supervisory experience
  • High level of professionalism, interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Expert level of proficiency with Excel, Word, and other financial reporting tool

  • Experience successfully managing multiple requests, assessing priorities and achieving solutions under deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced analytical and information gathering skills; ability to evaluate and prioritize extensive detailed data
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with high level of accuracy and sound judgement
  • Ability to effectively manage time and complete multiple tasks, while continually meeting critical deadlines and responding to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
