I. POSITION OVERVIEW
II. Provides scientific, engineering, and other technical support for the development, execution, and evaluation of the Airport Cable Loop (ACL) program. Implements plans and requirements and develops reports. Typical activities include, but are not limited to, developing, and reviewing technical documents and plans; performing technology evaluations; testing and evaluation support; inventory processing and management; equipment requirements analysis; managing emerging requirements, managing and coordinate site preparation activity.
III.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Radio Deployment as follows:
· Verifies and validates CWP extracts from the Corporate Work Plan
· Monitor and maintains the Near-Term Radio Deployment Worksheet and the Regional Terminal Site Lists
· Verifies and validates each SRF submission including the request for funding, and informs the Service Area Coordinator (SAC) of any validation deficiencies
· Verifies and validates the ERR and submits it to the Radio Deployment Manager, with information copies to appropriate team members
· Maintains the SRF/ERR Status Log
· Coordinates with appropriate team members as necessary to correct information inconsistencies or when additional information is needed
· Coordinates with Site Cost Monitor to provide total site cost estimates to the Radio Deployment Manager for his approval decision
· Verifies and validates monthly all new or updated surveys in the Air/Ground Communications Database and forwards errors and omissions to the Database Administrator
· Develops and distributes the Monthly Radio Deployment Statistics Report.
· Performs tasks as assigned by the Radio Deployment Manager
· Develops and publishes the Radio Mean-Time Between Failure (MTBF) report annually
III. REQUIREMENTS
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Communications.
Experience:
- 3-5 Relevant Experience
- FAA Experience desired but not required
- Strong knowledge of Fiber Optics
- Strong Telecommunication knowledge
- RF radio knowledge desired
Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail
· Good time management and organization skill, ability to prioritize
· Solution-oriented mindset

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
