Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Electronic Technician 2. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel – Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You’ll Get To Do:

Junior level job classification involving technical support of laboratory design, development and test activities. Job requires acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects. Direct supervision and instructions are given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments. Duties & tasks are varied but standardized. Independently performs some more advanced functions. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex questions to higher levels.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience
• 1+ years’ experience with cabling and wire-harness assembly
• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)
• Basic understanding of electronic test equipment including multi-meters, signal generators, and scopes

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)

• Current Soldering and Wire-Harness Assembly certification
• Strong understanding of materials selection associated with cable and wire-harness assembly
• Availability to work overtime and weekends as required

Salary Range: $43,200 USD – $72,000 USD

Employees be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
