The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage all aspects of the talent acquisition process, ensuring a strong pipeline to meet SQUAN’s resource requirements. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for determining job requirements, screening and offering candidates, and forecasting hiring needs for SQUAN’s Engineering Division.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the management team to identify team needs
  • Utilize networking skills and job boards (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) to passively and actively recruit and evaluate telecom engineering professionals for in-office and remote positions
  • Contact candidates and applicants by phone, text, and/or email to determine interest and fit for open requisitions
  • Arrange management video interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Perform offers, negotiations, and closing of candidates
  • Support in creating job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience with full-cycle recruiting (either in-house or with a staffing agency) in telecom, utilities, engineering, or a similar industry
  • Prior experience recruiting for telecom positions such as Designers, OSP Engineers, Fielders, PMs, etc. highly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions at a time
  • Experience utilizing multiple job boards and Boolean search strings
  • Ability to creatively source through social media and professional networks
  • Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
