Role Profile (The purpose of the role)

As the CRM Manager at Verastar you will be taking up a key role in having overall ownership and responsibility of the company’s CRM activities and applications. Verastar are currently going through a transformation project with CRM to consolidate existing legacy CRM applications and databases into a new single CRM instance built on Salesforce. The CRM Manager will work closely with both technical teams and business teams across all areas of the business to ensure CRM best practices are maintained from both a data perspective and technical development.

Scope of role (The functions, people and revenue responsibility)

  • Day to day ownership and responsibility of the Salesforce CRM platform at Verastar
  • Ensure data and development standards are maintained to a high level to support marketing and sales teams in their CRM activities
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement within the marketing and sales teams to support lead generation and pipeline management activities
  • Provide CRM insights through reporting to the leadership team to support future business strategy and thinking.

Responsibilities of the role (What we want you to do)

  • Generate and develop a CRM Roadmap that underpins the wider business strategy to support growth across Marketing, Sales and Customer Service teams
  • Guide business and technical teams on CRM best practices and develop and maintain and library of documentation to support CRM activities
  • Provide support to the marketing teams on developing marketing campaigns and lead generation through the use of Salesforce Pardot
  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide insight into campaign, sales and customer service performance
  • Help oversee the migration of legacy CRM applications and datasets into the new Salesforce CRM

Experience (What you need to have already done to be right for this role)

  • Strong experience as a CRM Manager in previous roles, minimum 5 years.
  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders across a variety of business units
  • Demonstratable experience of delivering value into CRM projects.
  • Experience of Salesforce products is desirable but not essential.
  • An ability to problem solve and present recommended solutions to senior team members to unlock further CRM value.

Qualifications and other requirements

  • Degree qualified.
  • Relevant marketing (e.g. CIM) or digital qualifications (e.g. Certification in Pardot) or database strategy certifications.
  • Salesforce certifications and/or experience is a plus.
