Summary
It is an exciting time for HM Land Registry as we continue on a major transformation programme. HMLR’s ambition is to become the world’s leading land registry for speed, simplicity and an open approach to data.
We are looking for a Telecoms Technical Team Lead to join our Digital, Data and Technology team to help us to achieve this.
You will join our award-winning Digital, Data and Technology Directorate which is the in-house IT division at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation with the ambition to provide our customers with cutting-edge digital services.
Job description
Responsibilities
To meet the requirements of this role, you will already hold a qualification in Information Technology or a related area (Degree Level or equivalent) or experience in an IT field. You will also have an in-depth knowledge, proven expertise and practical experience in at least 3 of the following:
- Management of infrastructure to support production systems.
- VoIP Telephony Infrastructure.
- Call/Contact centre software.
- MS Teams.
You can plan, manage and deliver significant technical change and you can gather technical information, analysis and problem solving. You will also be able to manage technical risk and lead implementing appropriate mitigations.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to interact and build working relationships with stakeholders, and strong leadership demonstrated through coaching or mentoring is essential.
The Digital, Data and Technology Directorate is the in-house IT division for HMLR. We are currently recruiting several roles to ensure the directorate’s teams contain the right blend of skills, experience and knowledge to take our major transformation programme forward. These teams are at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation with the ambition to provide our customers with cutting-edge digital services.
