An employer is looking for a Tier II NOC Engineer to work in Charlotte, NC. This person will be providing tier II support to proactively monitor and maintain customers’ networks. Customers include carriers, schools, hospitals, government, and enterprise companies. This person will be committed to monitoring the customers’ networks for alarms and contacting customers directly to work through the network issues. Manual configurations of network routers and switches, some troubleshooting of VoIP issues, along with in depth troubleshooting of overall layer 2 and layer 3 network issues will fall under this person’s responsibilities. It is essential that this person be an excellent communicator and flexible to work on call hours as required per the rotation. The hours for this role will be First Shift, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. Lastly, a CCNA will be strongly preferred for this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
