Responsibilities

3C Information Solutions (3CIS) is the dominant provider of wireless and wired services to industrial and municipal clients in and outside of Alberta. Bringing communication solutions to remote locations for business sectors such as oil and gas, forestry, mining, government, cellular, construction, aboriginal bands, and more. Headquartered in Edmonton Ab, with offices in Grande Prairie, and Calgary (Aldersyde), 3CIS has been supplying high-quality technical solutions to our clients since 2000.

3CIS is currently looking for experienced project manager, preferably with some telecommunications or fiber to the home (FTTH) experience, to join our team. to plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of telecommunication projects

Reporting to the VP Wireless, the Project Manager (Telecommunications) will plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of telecommunication projects including:

  • Direct and oversee FTTH construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and the internal teams to meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
  • Negotiate agreement terms, manage construction contract drafts, and obtain permits to analyze and mitigate risks.
  • Communicate with the responsible parties to ensure quality that meets company standards and proper industry processes are utilized, while ensuring the client’s needs are efficiently met.
  • Review projects regularly to ensure quality standards exist and estimates remain within budget.
  • Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the building process.
  • Prepare close-out packages according to specifications.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in managing mid- to large-scale construction projects
  • Degree in management or PMP designation are a strong asset
  • Understanding and experience with fiber networking design, pedestals/vaults, and ground installations
  • Knowledge of wireless and fiber
  • Excellent resource, planning, and time management skills
  • Superior management and delegation capabilities
  • Customer focused and able to continue great relationships
  • High level of financial responsibilities
  • Leadership, project, and time management skills
  • Previous experience in telecommunications is preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
