No Limits Underground Ltd. is a privately-owned, premier underground utility contractor in Winnipeg, Manitoba that specializes in directional drilling. Founded in 2017, No Limits Underground Ltd. started off with one directional drill and a crew of three installing electrical for solar systems across Manitoba. With the connections made during that time, our client base grew beyond our expectations, and we now offer many services such as hydro-excavating, cable plowing, and excavation. This allows us to complete full turnkey projects with outstanding services to create a quality outcome on every project!

TRAINING PROVIDED TO QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

Summary

Reporting to the Foreman, the Vault Technician is responsible for providing quality services for all the projects assigned

Due to the expansion of our business, we are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Vault Technician to join our growing company!

As a Vault Technician at NLU you will:

• Read and interpret specifications, plans and locate diagrams
• Installations of telecommunication vaults as per spec
• Fiber installation as per spec
• Installation of conduit splices
• Shoveling and digging and cleaning up
• Backfilling
• Responsible for ensuring all materials are on hand
• Other related fiber installation tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Meticulous and high attention to detail.
• Safety conscious.
• Cable pulling an asset.
• Valid Class 5F license.
• Must be able to work in varied and cold weather conditions
• Physically fit with no physical limitations
• Capable of lifting 50lbs
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to think and react to changing conditions quickly
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks
• Driver’s abstract (Not more than 1-month-old)
• Own vehicle to come to work
• Functional Phone

Work Conditions:

• Must be able to work out of town
• Required to work in all weather conditions
• Required to work around heavy equipment
• Overtime as required

Salary: CA$18 – CA$24per hour
