Account Executive-Residential Sales
Moby Telecommunications is excited to look for a talented and skilled Account Executive-Residential Sales to join our winning team and help us completely disrupt the current duopoly in Canada. Moby is providing independent fibre optic Internet | TV | Phone and related services in major Alberta urban centres. We design, deploy, and manage our own fibre optic infrastructure and are not a reseller of the incumbent telecoms and cable carriers. We are a legitimate other option for Canadians!

We are looking for unicorns. Salespeople that enjoy selling to residents of the downtown core both in Calgary and Edmonton and creating long term relationships with them by only selling them what they need. Day to Day Responsibilities
As an Account Executive-Residential Sales you will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager-Residential Sales and would have the following primary responsibilities:
- Own, meet and exceed New Revenue Targets while always creating a win-win situation for Moby and our customers.
- Meet customer acquisition objectives
- Develop key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our residential solutions.
- Daily Lead Generation Sales Activity
· Drive sales through engagement with prospective customers onsite and through the phone in condominium and apartment buildings in the downtown core
- Qualify leads from digital campaigns and other Marketing Lead Gen activities.
- Handle all inbound sales inquiries.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with business, channel, and alliance partners.
Candidate Profile
- A closer of business with 2+ years experience in sales.
- Embodies sales and passionately showcases their love for curating new leads and landing sales.
- A hunter-type mentality, looking to go out and top the success of previous wins.
- Strong negotiator with ability to close sales while still providing real value to our customers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, out of the box thinker.
- Self driven and can own the entire sales cycle and after with minimal direction.
- Excellent listening and communication skills to build strong relationships with customer for repeat business.
- Experience in Telecom Sales an asset
