Your working area & responsibilities
- Single Point of Contact to demand units (requestor) for IT (interface of technology units)
- Early involvement in ideation and consulting and support demand (requestor) in the ideation and creation of new products and/or related services / processes
- Consult demand (requestor) regarding benefits and capabilities of technologies, products and services to satisfy customer & stakeholder needs, making proactive suggestions and giving hints about possible solutions (in accordance with further experts like Architects and Application Analysts), delivering insights into technology trends
- Overall responsibility for engineering of requirements provided by the demand requestor (who covers the requirements from all stakeholders) and quality gate for the IT related business requirements regarding the PDP
- Demand consulting for definition and elaboration of requirements, user story creation & prioritization (ranked backlogs) and MVPs aligned with key stakeholder, solution architects and (key) applications ensuring standardized products / services / processes with focus on high customer experience
- Gather and shape/refine requirements (epics, features, concrete user stories and exact acceptance criteria); make sure that completeness of requirements are given in the defined PDP deliverables (e.g., SRS/FLOW Packages or equivalent, product backlog, etc.)
- Prepare, moderate and rework requirement workshops
- Define project scope and high-level project phases with relevant stakeholders (business and technical departments) and demand (requestor), plan potential cut of project scope into delivery drops based on MVPs aligned with key stakeholder and solution architect
- Transparent, regular and adequate demand and stakeholder communication regarding scope, quality, timeline, budget and status aligned with project management
- Prepare PIA (Preliminary Impact Assessment) and high-level feasibility checks provided by technical experts (architects, application analysts, etc.) (PIA or similar pre-analysis phase)
- Documentation of functional and non-functional requirements and constraints within templates respectively digital tools/processes
- Ensure budget in accordance with demand (until handover to IT Project Lead)
- Define Customer Readiness Test (CRT) scope. Ensure that the scope meets stakeholder needs and expectations
- Initiate assessment for defined solutions from past analyses with current architecture (analysis re-checks) aligned with key units, business analyst and architects
- Support CRT commercial launch with Demand
Your skillset
- Overall, around 8+ years of work experience, in Telecom Products and Services and working with Telco Business and IT Units
- Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
- Knowledge about Telecom domain with deep know-how about CRM systems, Billing systems, Order Management systems, Product Catalog systems and other Telecom BSS Applications. Understanding about Prepaid, Postpaid and Enterprise customers of a Telecom Operator.
- Experience in managing the requirements from the business and engaging with the IT Unit for delivering the same
- Proven experience in strategic projects with high impact.
- Excellent level of German
