Field Manager

Job Description / Responsibilities: • Manage and schedule rigging crews. • Work closely with WesTower PMs to understand work scope and scheduling priorities. • Single point of contact for crew scheduling and assignment. • Manage all Job Book updates – crew scheduling, jobs, vacation, etc.

• Manage crew travel arrangements. • Promote WesTower’s high safety standards and policies. • Manage and schedule crew safety training as required. • Issue, inspect, audit, and maintain safety equipment.
• Manage crib tools – track, issue, maintain, and repair. • Review timesheets. • Manage crew laptop, cell phone, key, and access FOB. • Responsible for crew interviews and hiring.
• Responsible for disciplinary discussions and records. • Assist with shipping, material sort, packaging, pick up, and drop off. Qualifications: • Strong rigging background and experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong safety skillset and background, with a strong adherence to safety procedures. • Organized, with the ability to multitask. • Responsive to crew and management requirements. • Flexible working hours per crew requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail. • Valid Canadian driver’s license is required. • Clean Criminal record. • Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and clients.
• Must be reliable, trustworthy and have a positive attitude! Additional Assets: • Technical experience in telecom (equipment, cellular, microwave). • Experience in crew management. At WesTower Communications Ltd.
